This is my second 4 mile race – the first being the KC Zoo run and I managed to shave off 1 minute off of my previous time to finish in 44:12! Yay! This race was a lot of fun and even better was the delicious brunch at Farmhouse afterwards with Becky, Lorie, Sam and Emily.
Also – Becky placed 2nd in her age group (only to be beaten by Connie (Abbott) Teague a former Shawnee Mission South runner who was a star back in my sister’s high school x-country days)! And our team (Godspeed) finished 5th due to Becky’s amazing time!
That’s awesome – way to go!
